Here is what can probably be considered one of the simplest, most genuine and delicious Tuscan dishes, croutons with black cabbage and extra virgin olive oil, of course!
Slices of lightly toasted bread, so that it can be crunchy and absorb the oil better. Then rub a little fresh garlic over the toasted bread, add plenty of olive oil and lay the boiled black cabbage on top until it softens, with a further addition of oil and a light sprinkling of black peppercorns and salt.
